1. What HelpInfra is for
HelpInfra is for real construction supply in India: machines, materials and manpower, offered by the person or
company that actually controls them. A listing is a promise that the thing exists, that it is yours to offer,
and that the price and the details on it are true today.
Everything below follows from that one idea. If you are listing something you own or manage, at a price you
would actually accept, you will never come near this policy.
2. What is not allowed
Supply that is not real or not yours
Machines, materials or workers that do not exist, or that you do not own, manage or represent.
Machinery that is stolen, or that cannot be registered or insured in the owner's name.
Someone else's photos, documents or registration numbers.
Listing the same machine or crew several times to take up more space in search.
Prices and details that mislead
A price far below what you will actually accept, used to make the phone ring.
Hiding charges that always apply — transport, operator, diesel, loading — so the real price is only said on
the call.
Availability you cannot keep. If it is booked, mark it busy.
Contact details in the text
Phone numbers, WhatsApp links, websites and email addresses do not belong in a title, a description or any
other field. Buyers get your number after they log in, which is what keeps it out of scrapers' hands.
Listings that are not construction supply
Jobs, rooms, flats, personal vehicles, loans, insurance, courses and anything else that is not machines,
materials or manpower for a construction site.
Unlawful or unsafe labour
Child labour, bonded labour, or any work arrangement that is illegal.
Hazardous work offered without the licences and safety equipment the law requires.
Discrimination
Manpower listings that exclude or prefer workers by caste, religion, gender or region. Skills, licences,
certifications and experience are legitimate requirements; identity is not.
Behaviour towards other people
Abuse, threats or harassment of any user, on the platform or on the call that follows.
Pretending to be someone else, or to be HelpInfra.
Asking a buyer for advance payment before any work is agreed. HelpInfra handles no money and will never ask
you to send any through us.
Abuse of the platform
Collecting phone numbers in bulk, by hand or by script.
Creating extra accounts to get past a limit, a block or a removal.
Using the Verified badge, or claiming it, without the documents behind it.
3. What happens when a listing breaks these rules
We act in proportion, and we always tell you why.
What we do | When | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|
Warning | A first, fixable problem — a number in the description, the wrong category | The listing stays live. You get a message saying what to change. |
Hidden while we check | Several buyers report the same listing | Buyers cannot see it for up to 24 hours while a person reviews it. If the reports were wrong, it comes straight back. |
Removed | The listing breaks a rule above and cannot be fixed | The listing is gone and cannot be edited or reposted. Your other listings are not affected. |
Account blocked | Repeated removals, harvesting numbers, threats, or fraud | You cannot log in, and every listing is paused. |
Automated systems can hide a listing and limit how many numbers an account sees in a day. A person makes
every decision to remove a listing or block an account.
4. If you think we got it wrong
Every message we send about a listing carries a way to reach us on WhatsApp. Reply to it with your side and any
photographs, bills or registration papers that help. A different person from the one who made the first decision
reads every appeal, and you get an answer either way.
5. Reporting something
Every listing has Report this listing at the bottom, and every user can be reported from the listing they
posted or from your enquiries. Tell us the reason, add a screenshot if you have one, and our team checks it
within 24 hours. We never tell the other person who reported them.
If you would rather write to a person: the grievance officer's name, address and email are published on the
grievance page, and we acknowledge every grievance within 24 hours and dispose of it within 15 days, as the
Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 require.
6. Law enforcement
We give user information to the police, a court or a government authority only against a written request that
is valid under Indian law, and only the specific information that request covers. Every disclosure is recorded
with the reference number of the order and exactly which fields were shared.
We also remove listings when a court or a competent authority orders it. When that happens the listing shows
"Removed following a legal request", and we tell the person who posted it unless the order forbids us.
